Collaborations - Tangible Interface Workshop
With due recognition to the innovations of material science, in October 2010, Thread Count Lab founders Eleanor-Jayne Browne and Alessia Giardino, with special guest, internationally acclaimed Digital Artist Lin, Pey Chwen, hosted the Tangible Interfaces Workshop, with students from the Media+Visual Communication Department, Chang Gung University, Taiwan.
The workshop was all about experimentation and the exploration of materiality beyond its typical scope; and students were invited to respond to this brief in their own very unique way.
Inspired by 'Surface Regeneration' project, students have personally re-interpretated and created design installations using concrete as the main medium.
